Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and statements.

Record and process all business transactions within the organisation’s accounting
system using principles of double-entry accounting
Record transactions relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash/bank
and ensuring timely reconciliation
Prepare GST & Withholding returns for Financial Controller’s review
Record transactions relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments
Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for managements use
Perform month-end closing activities under Financial Controller’s guidance
Prepare management reports
Undertake any other finance duties as required

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Post Graduate
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
At least 5 years of hands-on experience
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word required
Mature, responsible and able to work independently
Proficiency in English(required) and Hindi/Tamil would be advantageous to deal with
Indian stakeholders
Able to work under pressure and tight deadline and deliver results
Work week: 5.5days to 6days(negotiable)
Able to start work immediately or within short notice is preferred

Jobs Descriptions:

As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the clients' full sets of accounts, from purchase, sales, and cash journals to the general ledgers and management reports. You may be assigned to different working places at the client's office when requires. Therefore, being an outspoken person and willing to travel independently to the client's office is preferable.

You will also be preparing GST reports, schedules, and any other reports required by the clients and/or the authorities before the due dates. These are some of the key duties you will be doing.

You have to cover some other secretary roles, admin, and ad-hoc duties as at when requires. It is a great learning opportunity for you to handle the clients.

Jobs Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of working experience
• Able to work independently
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments that are assigned by the management
