The Audit Supervisor is expected to lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement. He/She works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement. He/She also works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships. He/She is able to identify unethical behavior and react based on the applicable ethical principles.

The Audit Supervisor operates in work contexts that are less standardization and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.

Candidate is required to plan, co-ordinate and supervisor various audit assignments for review by the engagement manager or partner. He/She will manage a portfolio of engagements to deliver high quality audit services. He/She will also provide leadership on audit engagements which include client acceptance process, engagement planning, execution and finalisation of an audit engagement. He/She is fully accountable for the audit engagement and ensures that the engagement progress against budget and timeline is closely monitored.

1. Ensure the restaurant is run in an efficient manner and proper service is offered at all times

- Manage restaurant environment, handle and schedule regular maintenance and upkeep of restaurant, such as pest control, servicing, etc

- Ensure balanced allocation of duties and shift to staff, following regulated work hours and rest days

- Liase with Hotel team for breakfast and day to day F&B needs

2. Handle customer and Hotel feedback calmly, professionally and efficiently at all times, resolving any disputes and recovering service effectively

- Manage restaurant inventory levels, handling purchasing of necessary items when necessary

3. Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 1 years relevant working experience with at least 1 year in supervisory role

- Familiar with International restaurant menus and operations flow, POS Systems

- Meticulous with an eye for details

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to multi-task and handle high volume of work in fast-paced environment

- Able and willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as business dictates

Job Scope:

• Be responsible for end-to-end accounting and GST submission on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Lead and supervise the team and work well with management in meeting targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Analysis of accounts.
• Perform payment forecast and monitor cashflow.
• Manage the operational and workflow management.
• Develop & implement process improvements.
• Liaising with Auditors.
• Any other assignment as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding experience.
• Moderate Microsoft Excel skills i.e. use of excel functions, pivot table etc. is an advantage.
• Possesses excellent leadership skills to motivate and manage team, set goals, and provide guidance.
• Ability to work independently with high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, meticulous and committed individual who can work with little supervision under tight deadlines.
• Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Review management accounts and assist in planning of the audit engagements including, but not limited to, understanding of the client’s business environment, assessment of key risks areas, determination of materiality and performance of preliminary analytical review
• Perform fieldwork for audit including, but not limited to, performance of tests of controls, substantive analytical procedures and other tests of details
• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS
• Check compliance with relevant laws and regulations e.g. Singapore Companies Act (Chapter 50), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Income Tax Act and applicable tax legislation, etc.
• Review the financial statements prepared by clients and modify as appropriate in compliance with the requirements of FRS
• Lead team on engagements and provide guidance to junior associates
