Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager who is passionate about the Wise mission – money without borders. You’ll be part of the Wise Platform team in APAC, working closely to grow and retain our existing partners.

We’ve launched partnerships globally, with the likes of Bank Mandiri, Shinhan Bank and Tiger Brokers in APAC, and today have 80+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform.

A bit about the role:

You will be a Senior Account Manager within a fast growing regional commercial team, responsible for driving growth with our existing partners in APAC. You’ll identify and execute growth opportunities across your partner portfolio, manage churn risk and build relationships with key stakeholders.

The role is based in our Singapore office, but you will also work closely with the Global Account Management and Customer Success teams based around the world. You will collaborate with other functions across Wise Platform and the wider Wise organisation, including our product management, engineering, compliance & legal, delivery, as well as business development teams.

Your mission:

• Work closely with Wise Platform teams and partners to identify, progress and close a strong pipeline of opportunities within your existing accounts, driving revenue and volume growth for Wise.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

• You have 7+ years of experience in an Account Management role, managing payment solutions for large enterprises..
• You have a track record of successfully driving revenue growth from accounts in your portfolio
• You have experience with domestic and international payment schemes, ideally also in correspondent banking (SWIFT).
• You’re familiar with the banks and financial services landscape in APAC, and understand how cross-border payments works for them today
• You’ve previously worked and are comfortable in a faced paced and technical environment
• You’re experienced in building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders of all sizes – from CEOs, to head of payments, network managers and product managers

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a manager, ideally with a proven track record in leading small teams of accountants and bookkeepers. The right candidate will possess strong communication skills both with internal stakeholders, external service providers and as well as clients. • A minimum of 5 - 10 years of progressive experience within an accounting/outsourcing firm with some managerial experience or the potential to step into a managerial role.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform front end engineering design (FEED) and basic design for Mechanical and Piping Engineering for utility power and water, petrochemical industries and utility scale renewable projects. Experience in subsea piping, Ammonia piping, CO2 Piping and hydrogen piping would be beneficial.
• Develop and design piping systems based on project requirements, including plant layout, pipe routing, sizing, and specification of pipes. Create detailed 2D and 3D piping layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, SmartPlant).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8-15 years of experience in piping design and layout, preferably in energy business related engineering management and project management (engineering and construction).
• Experience in power and water utilities as well as renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Experience in other renewable energy projects, especially Hydrogen, Wind, CCU is preferred.

• Be the key point of contact between business and its clients, building strategic partnerships, overseeing business performance to strengthen existing client relationships.
• Maintain up-to-date client profile with contract expiry dates and perform contract renewal with clients nearing to the expiry dates.
• Be able to negotiate rates and service scopes with existing clients.
• To support implementation of projects handover, and on occasion, take the lead to develop and cross-functional implementation of value-added supply chain solutions.
• Consistently monitor our service standards and work with our operations team to drive suppliers and operation teams across all areas of responsibility ie lead times, complaints, escalation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or relevant qualification and above.
• At least 5 years’ of relevant experience within a similar position in the logistics industry is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience or track records of past secured accounts and positive sales performance
• Proficient in MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel, Words etc
• Excellent business acumen, with strong business analytical skills
• Strong project planning & management skill, and handling multiple projects, assignments and duties
• Customer oriented

Job Descriptions:-

• Account management - Servicing customers to conduct product installation, training, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Maintaining a good relationship with existing clients, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Attending to client’s inquiries timely and promptly
• Gathering requirements and feedback on products, and working closely with the Product Team to continuously improve the products
• Prepare quotations, and ensure timely payment from clients
• Lead customer management analysis with internal stakeholders to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are achieved

Job Requirements:-

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree from recognized institutes
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in customer service/ client servicing/ account management or similar capacity
• Non-experience candidates are welcome to apply as training will be provided
• Comfortable with travelling for client visiting (for deployment, training purposes)
• Result-oriented and able to work under pressure
• A good team player with roll-up-sleeves attitude
