Your key responsibilities

• Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the senior manager/partner and execute it in compliance with EY's policies and protocols. To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Obtained CPA Singapore qualification or other professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, CPA Australia, CA ANZ, CICA, AICPA, CIMA
• At least 5 years of related work experience in audit field for insurance, banking or asset management industries.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Knowledge of current market issues in financial services in Singapore.

The Responsibilities

As our Account Manager, you will be expected to drive sales.

· Follow up leads and business opportunity with targeted accounts

Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager is expected to:

Job Description

• Support the CEO in managing all commercial, procurement, and contractual affairs related to the operation of power plants and mines.
• Conduct commercial reviews of new tenders, contracts, or contract amendments and provide recommendations to the CEO.
• Perform financial analysis and review the company's historical performance and projections.
• Review all project reports before submission to NEPCO, GOJ, lenders, and shareholders.

Our client is a International Bank and is looking to expand in Singapore. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager (Accountant) to join their Middle Office team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Profit and Loss Management. Manage budget controls including payment of expenses and taxes, etc. Undertake the preparation of financial statements, corporation tax, VAT and other tax returns
• Reporting to Authorities: Submitting periodical reports to authorities including Notice 610. Submission of Statistics and Returns. Liaison with MAS and Accounting Firms regarding bank accounting policies and guidelines.

Supporting duties:

• Risk and Operation Management: Assisting the Middle Office Manager to manage credit, market and liquidity risk from the Middle Office’s standpoint. Check daily operation. Reconciliation of checking the account balance. Manage reports to the Head Office, MAS and Japanese regulatory agencies, etc.
