Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of entries in the accounting system.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are resolved.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the construction industry.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with project-based accounting and financial management in a construction setting.
