Job Description:
Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting
Review of accounting transactions and journals for local & oversea entities and to work closely with the finance team for fair and true reporting
To supervise and provide guidance to staff members in financial matters
Perform monthly review and analysis of financial reports & operational performance
Preparing analysis reports for tax filing
Responsible for monthly GST submission
Assist in managing of company’s cash flow
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure submission of statutory and tax reports are on timely basis.
Liaise with internal & external auditors, resolve audit and accounting issues
Liaise with tax agents on tax issues, annual submissions and Group’s tax planning
Liaise with external parties including bankers, secretary, etc
Ad hoc tasks delegated from time to time
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/Finance or equivalent
At least 5 - 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Excellent team player, meticulous, and highly attentive to details
Able to work effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience with any computerised accounting software and proficient in MS Office
Familiar with the FRS
Audit and regional finance & taxation experience
Positive working attitude
Have initiative, strong sense of responsibility and time management
