As a member in the Account Receivables, Non-Research Grants and Population Health Programmes Section, you will play an important role in coordination with key stakeholders to support development and implementation of the tailored strategies to improve Population Health and other hospital initiatives that align with national initiatives (e.g. Healthier SG) of transforming healthcare in the Singapore Healthcare landscape.
Your job roles will include but not be limited to the followings:
- Timely preparation of Statements of Income and Expenditure for Heads of Department, Project Directors and/or Funding Agencies, etc.
- Monitor expenditure charged to various Grants and Programmes in accordance with the program objectives.
- Timely claims for reimbursement of expenses funded by third parties.
- Assist and advise Project Directors in preparing budgets for their projects.
- Administering and adhering to the Hospital’s financial processes and controls.
- Timely month-end closing and preparation of schedules.
- Assists in other projects or tasks as assigned by supervisors, targeted towards achieving SGH’s priorities.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration (major in Accountancy or Finance) or equivalent
- Accounting related working experience will be an advantage
- Proficient in SAP, IT Systems and Microsoft Applications
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Systematic and meticulous in work
- Independent worker with the ability to handle tight deadlines
