Job Summary:

The Account & HR Support role provides comprehensive administrative assistance to both the accounting and human resources departments. This position ensures the smooth processing of day-to-day accounting tasks, while also supporting HR functions, including employee records management, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to handle confidential HR information.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Support:

• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Help maintain general ledger and assist in reconciliation tasks.
• Process invoices and verify accuracy.
• Track and file financial documents, ensuring proper documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment inquiries or discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized filing system for financial records.
• Assist with payroll preparation by verifying timesheets and employee data.

HR Support:

• Help onboard new employees by preparing welcome materials, conducting orientation, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with payroll administration, ensuring data entry for salaries, deductions, and benefits is accurate.
• Support benefits administration, including enrollment and tracking of employee benefits.
• Manage and track employee leave requests, attendance, and other HR-related records.
• Handle routine HR inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in employee relations by ensuring a positive work environment and supporting team communication.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / NITEC in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations is an advantage.

JOB EXPECTATIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure customer expectations are clearly documented (through SharePoint or Customer SOP) and communicated effectively.
• Highlight and escalate customers at risk.
• Manage integrity of shipment and performance data.
• Ensure rates are kept up to date and communicated effectively to operations and customer either through customer SOP or SharePoint.
• Ensure customer is properly set up in CRM & Customer Account according to CHQ expectations.
• Document all meetings, opportunities and any other customer related information in CRM; and ensure data is accurate and consistent at all times.
• Achieve and maintain acceptable scoring of related KPI measurements including the engagement of corrective measures when applicable.
• Support the Accounts Receivable process of the customer internally within Expeditors.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Vertical - Flavours & Fragrances, the Regional Key Account Support Intern will be part of the Flavours & Fragrances vertical and will support the BD Team for diverse marketing activities and various projects in the Region.

What you will be doing

Marketing & Front Office Support

• Support the development of marketing materials for key sub-industries (e.g. presentation decks, case studies)
• Conduct Market Research on certain targeted trades or industry
• Other ad-hoc support as requested from RAM team

Project Management

• Lead various internal projects related to business development monitoring, setting up implementation tools
• Other ad-hoc projects requested by RAM team

Essential

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, Asia Pacific, the Regional Key Account Support Intern will be part of the Luxury Fashion vertical and will be responsible for developing key materials to support vertical growth in Asia Pacific. This 6-months full-time internship will begin in January 2025.

What you will be doing

• Support the updating and maintenance of existing communication content (such as newsletters, workshops etc.)
• Support existing account through problem solving
• Help to develop Gantt chart for Project management follow-up
• Assist in Project management follow-up and milestones commitment
• Support countries during tender phase through vendor follow-up and DACs

The successful candidate

Essential

• Undergraduate in Business / Sales / Supply Chain
• Analytical, with the ability to translate complex requirements and data into effective solutions
• Team player, ability to work effectively across all levels from management to operators and across different functional areas

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Vertical - Beauty, the Regional Key Account Support Intern will be part of the Beauty vertical and will be responsible in providing support for various marketing, communication and projects in the region. This 6-months full-time internship commences Dec 2024/ Jan 2025.

What you will be doing

• Collating of monthly Beauty reports from all entities
• Support the maintenance of Beauty vertical's SharePoint and updating of Beauty's ASPAC deck
• Consolidate statistical elements from various operation sites and achieve a monthly regional reporting vision of our business
• Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
• Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
• Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements

Job Purpose:  

The Accounts Manager is the main interface between the Company and our partner community. The Accounts Manager is responsible for the ‘complete’ sales cycle for the relevant business partners with the view to maximizing revenue, margin, and partner satisfaction. Having internal resources for assistance, the role is to develop deep relationships with key people inside the business partner and uncover sales opportunities, while delivering ongoing value to the partner.

Responsibilities:

• With assistance from the Channels Director build and execute a call plan that will ensure maximum return from the business partner community.

• Develop a solid understanding of the product range and present an informed overview.

• Up and cross sell each opportunity for maximum margin return and differentiation.

• Ensure all business partners are alerted of any upcoming renewals

• Ensure the CRM is updated and used pro-actively to drive business engagements and forecasting

• Accurately forecast business with Sales Manager on a monthly basis.

• Work with Sales Support and provide support where necessary to ensure timely logging of orders.

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience selling IT solutions in the channel required.
