About the Role This position is responsible for providing consultation and professional advice on key technology and information security risk matters relating to the abovementioned geographical responsibilities, thereby adding value to building a strong information security risk culture centred on people, processes and technology. The role will also coordinate regular governance review engagements and being involved in technology-related audit engagements for the abovementioned geographical locations. The role requires professional judgment and assessments on material to be provided by the various process and control owners for the audits. Risk Assessments, Audit and Regulatory Management Facilitate and drive Technology related audit engagements with statutory auditor and regulator, following up with relevant parties to ensure all issues identified are remediated Facilitate and drive annual IT risk and control self-assessment exercises according to MAS regulatory notices/guidelines, internal enterprise IT policies, and standards Coordinate independent reviews of the entities' compliance against various information security and technology risk regulations such as MAS TRM Guidelines, MAS 132 Notice on Cyber Hygiene and MAS 127 Notice on TRM for AIA Singapore, as well as Brunei technology risk regulations for AIA Brunei. • Assist in the gathering and analysis of data and information required for each audit assignment planning.
• Assist in gathering evidence for the audit fieldwork to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and related risk management, internal controls and governance process, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Company’s policies and procedures.
• Assist in the design and application of data analytics techniques (using Excel, ACL, Tableau) in audit assignments.
• Document accurate audit work performed and audit result in a clear and organised manner, supported by audit evidence for review by Team leader.
• Assist in developing and drafting comprehensive audit observations (including root causes and risks) on weaknesses in control environment, and making recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist Team Leader in finalizing the audit findings, recommendations and reports, and collate management responses and action plans to mitigate risk.
• Assist in tracking audit issues identified by Internal Audit and external auditors, and monitor implementation progress of management action plans. Assist in conducting validation review on management remediation actions to address control deficiencies.
