The Fund Accounting Team Manager will be responsible for the following:

● Supervising fund accounting team with regards to the following:

● Bookkeeping and preparation of Fund and Syndicate Accounts

● Preparation of periodic reporting to Fund Managers and LPs

○ NAV statements, Capital Account Statements

● Preparation and communication of Capital Call and Distribution Notices

● Liaising with tax team to help prepare tax filings for clients

● Assisting with one-off Client requests

● Joining calls with clients when team members need assistance

● Onboarding new team members

● Liaising with software providers used by the Fund Accounting Department

● Performing fund accounting for new clients in conjunction with Senior Fund Accountants,

before handing over to team

● Assisting the Sales team by providing quotes, joining calls with prospects, and providing technical

assistance

● Working with the Client Success team on onboarding of new funds, and upselling to existing

clients

● Ensuring consistency and quality througout the fund reporting process for all clients

and all team members.

The Fund Accounting Manager will report directly to the Head of Fund Services.

Part-time position

5 hours per day from Monday to Friday

The Job

• Prepare full sets of accounts, audit and tax schedules in a company with a min sales turnover of $1million/mth
• Prepare monthly management reports and presentation materials
• Prepare quarterly consolidation reporting package for submission to Group Finance team
• Prepare periodic tax return filings for both direct and indirect taxes
• Perform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for ad hoc projects and special management reports
• Provide regional finance support when necessary
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents
• Assist superior in quarterly consolidation, year-end audit and preparation of annual report
• Recommend finance process optimisation and internal control improvements
• Assist in finance digital transformation including process automation and data analytics
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

The Requirements

• Must possess Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Must possess a minimum of two years’ relevant experience
• Knowledgeable in accounting process and reporting requirements

The Assurance Senior is expected to lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensure timely completion of the audit engagement
• Work closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
• At least 3 years of external audit experience

• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills

The ideal candidate should have the following essential attributes:

• Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.

In this role, the candidate is required to:

• perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries.

Qualifications and experience:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Accounting degree qualification which is recognised by ISCA, or have the ACCA or Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification.
• a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
• a working knowledge of Caseware audit software and high proficiency in MS Excel would be added advantages.

Responsibilities:

• Manage to maintain the necessary reports and journal entries to build and support closure and financial reporting procedures that adhere to the reporting timeframe and rules.
• In-charge in preparing audit, tax, and SOX accounting schedules.
• Work closely with the operations and accounting teams to ensure that accounting entries are entered into the ERP on time and correctly.
• Coordination of billing and costing operations, as well as ensuring that accounting/costing activities and work billings/recharges adhere to SOX Compliance and Standard Operating Procedures
• Analyze and reconcile account balances on a timely basis, resolving discrepancies or escalating as needed.
• Examine intercompany markups on billings and purchases to ensure that Transfer Pricing regulations are followed.
• Maintaining controls over accounting transactions and month-end closing processes to guarantee financial correctness and completeness.
• Work on withholding tax and GST compliance, including analysis and reconciliation.
• Engage in value-added initiatives and promote continual process efficiency improvements.
• Any additional ad hoc tasks delegated by Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or equivalent
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience from MNC environment
• Prior experience in handling intercompany transactions and costing will be an added advantage
• Proficient in using MS Excel will be ideal
