Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support in the centre day-to-day and during center events
- Conduct daily walkabout to ensure meeting rooms, office areas and pantries are in good order and cleanliness address
- Lookout for 5S, HSE, any defects or improvements to be done
- Track, maintain and order office supplies and their inventory
- Assist in access card application and artwork
- Assist in IT asset management and onboard/offboarding process
- Assist in liaising and sourcing of vendor for quotation, office equipment and services
- Assist in ensuring all term contracts are renewed timely and review all term contract performance. Initiate new term when applicable
- Drive Continuous Improvement for the administrative support
- Required to perform any centre centric duties to ensure the smooth operations and research work in the centre
- Conduct internal training and briefing when needed
- Provide backfill for the receptionist and its duties during office hours
- Provide general support to visitors when needed
- Assist in statutory audit and internal audit
Job requirements
- Minimally Nitec in related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in administrative / operational support
- Willing to be scheduled to occasionally work off office hours in support of operations
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- A self-driven and meticulous individual who is keen to pick up new knowledge and technology
