Location: Huamin Primary School, 21 Yishun Avenue 11, Singapore 768857
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support:
- Assist teachers in the preparation and organization of teaching and learning resources.
- Support teachers in implementing interventions for students with learning difficulties, special needs, and behavioral concerns.
- Aid in managing the classroom environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.
- Student Support:
- Work closely with teachers to provide targeted support to students, particularly those with attendance issues or special educational needs.
- Treat students with respect and fairness, considering their physical, social, and psychological development.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in inventory management, including stock-taking and packing of resources.
- Handle general office front desk duties, such as answering phone calls and managing queries from students and parents.
- Collect and organize data for various school-related activities and administrative purposes.
- Event and Program Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of school programs and events, including learning journeys.
- Participate actively in school-related activities or events as required.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and the school’s administrative team to support overall school operations.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working within a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of a secondary school education qualification.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good knowledge of general office procedures and administrative tasks.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.
Ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
