SPH Media is looking for a diligent individual to join the Business Support team, which is responsible for the accurate processing of print and digital orders for our publications, as well as performing administrative duties.
The scope of responsibilities includes the following:
• Responsible for order processing of print & digital newspaper, school and magazine titles.
• Work closely with different stakeholders to ensure all orders are taken in accurately.
• Responsible for preparing & generating newspapers labels and delivery note (DN) for customers.
• Liaise with Production to ensure timely submission of orders, labels & documentations.
• Support the Operations Manager in vendor area allocation duties including vendor performance appraisal process.
• Process purchase requisitions and invoices for the department.
• Provide general administrative support to the department such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Support any other assigned ah-hoc duties.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Business or related fields
Required Competencies / Skills / Knowledge:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Able to multi-task and savvy with the use of multiple systems
• Strong numerical aptitude and good written skills
• Effective in interpersonal and communication abilities
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to deliver high-quality work
• Independent, meticulous and mature
• Adaptable to fast-paced and evolving work settings
