IT Admin & Technical Risk Support Analyst - 12-month renewable contract

Job Overview:

As the IT Admin & Technical Risk Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the IT infrastructure and assisting the Technical Risk Manager in mitigating technology risks. You will be responsible for administrative IT tasks, data entry, and creating clear, engaging reports and presentations. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Administration Support:Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  Assist with user access management, software updates, and troubleshooting.
  Provide support for IT-related inquiries and issues from internal teams.
  
• Technical Risk Support: Assist the Technical Risk Manager with tracking and managing tech risk assessments, incidents, and mitigation strategies.
  Perform data entry related to risk management, including maintaining risk registers and monitoring risk status.
  Conduct research to identify potential IT risks and vulnerabilities within the organization’s systems.
  
• Reporting and Presentation Support:Create and design clear, visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and reports for technical risk reviews and executive meetings.
  Support the development of risk communication materials to ensure alignment across departments.
  Collaborate with the risk and IT teams to summarize data and provide actionable insights through reports.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Strong background in IT administration, including basic networking, systems management, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with technical risk management principles or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create visually compelling presentations.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in risk management or IT governance.
• Knowledge of IT security frameworks and risk management best practices.
• Proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Experience in creating and maintaining reports or dashboards.
