Responsibilities & Duties

Account

• Maintaining accounting and related records (HongKong , Korea, UK,

Netherlands, Germany etc.)

• Completing the periodic and annual audit

• Ensure payments are checked, verified, authorised and approved

• Timely preparation and closing of accounts

• Support and advise project team on financial & accounting matters

• Review and implementation of accounting procedures and policies

Admin

• Manage general communication such as post, deliveries, couriers, etc.

• Manage supply of stationery and other office supplies

• Coordinate the travel arrangements for office on their travel arrangements

and logistics (bookings, visa applications, invitations letters)

Partial Set Accountant cum Admin

Working Days & Hours: 5 days | Mon-Fri: 9am to 5.30pm

• Our company is currently on the lookout for an experienced Admin & Finance Executive to provide financial administrative support to our companies. You will be working closely with and reporting directly to the Regional Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities

Finance

• Handle partial set/ or full sets of accounting (AP/ AR/ GL)
• Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts receivables & payables functions and other related duties assigned.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing payment vouchers, generating reports and statements, filing paperwork, and liaising with clients on payment matters.
• Maintain general journal entries
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers etc.
• Perform any other accounting/finance duties and responsibilities as and when necessary.

Administration (Ad-hoc)

• Ensure and maintain proper documentation of all finance, accounting and administration activities.
• Acting as the first point of contact when dealing with staff, suppliers and clients in terms of correspondence.
• Written communication including but not limited to drafting of documents or letters as and when necessary.
• Maintaining re-order level of office supplies, pantry, stationery, purchase of products and equipment, office maintenance etc.
• To provide administrative support to Management and ensure smooth operations of the Company.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Account / Finance or its equivalent
• Familiarity in EXACT & Cargowise One, Microsoft Outlook, TEAMS, Excel or related ERP

Job scope:

• Prepare accurate financial statement for management reporting purpose.
• Perform daily financial entries into the system including accounts payable, deposits, and all necessary maintenance items.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of journal entries to maintain the corporation's account books.
• Ensure all accounting transaction entries are system-integrated to the proper G/L accounts; maintain all general ledger accounts on a regular basis including reconciling sub-ledgers with G/L accounts.
• Maintain chart of accounts which entailed creating new accounts and remove out of date accounts.
• Conduct reconciliation on company bank accounts on weekly/monthly basis; reconcile balance sheet items such as prepayment, deposit, other accruals, etc. monthly.
• Perform year-end and month-end closing timely. This includes preparing all necessary closing entries such as accruals, depreciation, and any necessary adjustment entries.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports such as monthly cash low reports
• Monitor company assets register such as automobile, furniture and fixtures, computer hardware and software and the corporation's accounting files as needed.
• Support periodic audits, inventory physical count, prepare necessary documentation and any required information requested by auditors.
• Reconcile inventory reports Identify and report any issues to management
• Liaise with other departments to resolve inventories issues
• Assist to liaison with company tax agent for any tax-filing issues and provides all information requested
• Ad-hoc duties assigned as deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Oracle and MS Excel skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables.
