• User Support and Management: Act as the primary contact for users regarding research system functionalities and issues. Monitor the service portal for reported queries, troubleshoot functional problems, and provide guidance. Coordinate with the IT department and overseas vendors for technical resolutions and support interim solutions pending permanent fixes deployment.
• Training and Documentation: Keep user guides, system documentation, resource pages, and training materials updated to reflect system changes. Assist with training and coordination of system-related events.
• System Support, Maintenance, and Management: Coordinate and participate in research system meetings and testing activities, prepare meeting summaries, and follow up on action items with relevant departments. Identifying gaps in research processes and collaborating within and across departments to address them is essential. Ensure that updated documents are easily accessible for the community. Additionally, conduct or oversee scheduled system functionality checks and day-to-day maintenance activities. Support system and process-related audit activities.
• Grant Management and Research-Related Activities: Engage in end-to-end grant management processes to develop a comprehensive understanding of the workflows involved. This familiarity will enhance the ability to provide effective functional support for the research systems. Additionally, participation in office-related research activities will be required, ensuring a cohesive approach to supporting the community in their research endeavors.
