Job Description
- Analyse, monitor and forecast inventory levels.
- Award contracts in accordance with purchasing best practices.
- Coordinate local and overseas delivery.
- Generate monthly purchasing report for management.
- Initiate and lead cost saving initiatives.
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers.
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list.
- Monitor and keep optimal inventory levels.
- Review aging inventory on a monthly basis.
- Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 3 year(s) of procurement experience in Construction/Engineering Industry
- Required Skill(s): Negotiation skills, good Interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels.
- Understanding of procurement process, Good Communication Skills
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
- Able to start work within short notice
