Scope of Work:

• Assist in preparing materials and equipment needed by teachers for all curricular and co-curricular activities.
• Assist teachers in distribution and collection of worksheets and notes, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth running of activity.
• Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus, equipment, and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.
• Assist in classroom management in the science lab (e.g group work activities)
• Responsible for the setup, clean up and general maintenance of the science laboratories and Science areas.
• Assist in maintaining the Science lab equipment and resources (stock-taking)
• Assist teachers in ensuring students’ safety in the labs and during fieldtrips.

Other Duties:

• Assist in school duties when necessary.
• Assist and support in the running of school activities involving pupils.
• Assist in providing frontline counter duties (e.g., answering phone calls, contacting parents of pupils who are unwell and need to be taken home
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Principal/ Vice-Principal/ Key Personnel

Qualification, Skill & Experience

-At least ‘N’ levels qualification

-At least 1 year of relevant experience in performing roles and functions in providing similar administration support.

-Able to operate technological tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (or equivalent software applications) for data collation and analysis as well as the creation of printed materials.

-Possesses good communication skills to liaise with teachers, students, and other stakeholders

Contract Period: From 1 Feb 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of 1 year.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

-Mondays to Thursday: 7:30am to 5.00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

-Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

-Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

• Prepare apparatus for experiments. This includes purchasing and maintaining inventory.

• Mark quizzes and monitor students’ progress to help them achieve better grades.

+ Maintain high standards with a strong attention to detail. Thorough and accurate when accomplishing assigned tasks.

+ Able to work one and a half weekend days (Sunday from 12 noon, and Saturday).

[2 weekdays, including Fridays, will be rest days. You’ll be able to avoid weekend crowds on your rest days. Furthermore, there is no need to work on most weekends in June and December.]
