RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety Coordinator (80% - Main scope)
- Assist in the formation or revisions of site risk assessments with various stakeholders and other EHS related documents.
- Conduct Safety Induction briefing and EHS in-house courses to new joiners and contractors.
- Conduct safety inspections ensuring site activities are in compliance to local and corporate requirements.
- Support incident investigations and recommend remedial measures to prevent recurrences.
- Assist in site preparation for internal, external and corporate audits.
- Assist and coordinate site emergency response drills with stakeholders.
- Any other EHS duties as assigned.
Site Administration (20%)
- Manage the incoming/outgoing calls, exercising tactfulness and reliable personal judgement to greet and screen visitors & calls at all levels within the organization, industry and community.
- Manage general office/pantry supplies e.g. stationery, pantry, coffee, fruits.
- Monitor performance of Janitors.
- Prepare new staff pass, uniform, uniform name tag, towel.
- Laundry washing & return coordination.
- Support in IT coordination and purchasing activities.
- Support in miscellaneous &/ adhoc duties, courier services, event organizer, lunch coordination & other matters where applicable.
- Any other admin duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum GCE O Levels and above.
- Possess Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent.
- Possess Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan or equivalent (BizSAFE Level 2).
- Minimum 2 years WSH experience working in manufacturing/petrochemical/oil & gas industry preferred.
- Familiar with local WSH legislations and requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
