Responsibilities
· To provide support in practice management, including assisting with business development, billing, monitoring deadlines and managing calendars
· Accurately file documents with the court ahead of deadlines
· Process third party and vendor invoices
· File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents in a timely manner
· Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
· Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders
· General secretary duties
· Perform secretarial and administrative duties for CEO
· Handle and submit expenses and claims for the CEO.
· Managing CEO’s personal matters.
· Assist the CEO on confidential documents.
· Liaison with lawyers, consultants, and government authorities.
· Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
· 3+ years' experience as a secretary
· anyone with finance or insurance background is a bonus.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
· Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
· Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues
· Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
· Superior written and oral communication skills
