Job Summary:
Looking for a household-oriented assistant who can also handle some business/administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage household staff (e.g., helpers), ensuring they meet performance standards (especially cleanliness and tidiness) and providing necessary training and guidance, this includes their hiring and work schedules to ensure orderly household operations.
• Manage dining services, including setting tables, serving meals, and coordinating with the helpers.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers for any household maintenance and to ensure the proper functioning of household facilities and equipment.
• Managing inventories, and ensure the home is always well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Handle administrative tasks for the household, including file management, scheduling, and correspondence.
• Manage the household's financial budget, ensuring expenses are within a reasonable range.
• Assist with packing and unpacking for employer’s travel/trip, as well as organizing wardrobes.
• Handle personal requests from the employer, including shopping, deliveries and errand running.
• Stay alert and observant, of what is required for the house and practice preventive measures whenever possible.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating events and activities
• Manage employer’s medical’s appointment bookings, prescription and schedules, includes ensuring a timely reminder
• Ensure all necessary medical documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Drive the employer to and from appointments, meetings, events and other destination as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle, ensure vehicle is always fuelled, insured, and ready for use.
• Manage any necessary vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections as and when required.
Job requirements:
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and willing to drive.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and oral.
• Strong interpersonal communication and coordination
• Have good logic, common sense, attention to details and ability to work independently
• Excellent time-management skills
• Great with technology and apps as you are expected to perform most tasks with your mobile phone. Minimum computer use is required but you need to know how to use basic MS Words and MS Excel software.
• Have patience with elderly
• Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
May occasionally be required to work on Public Holiday and Sundays.
