Job Description

• oversee operation of a welfare home ensuring the well-being of residents and compliance with SOP and law regulation
• Ensure attention and support meet with destitute person act and MSF regulation
• Maintain safety and cleaniness with compliance standards
• Ensure Food Safety and Hygiene is strictly adhere
• Evaluate and enhance the quality and relevance of home programs and services
• Preparation of budgets and monitor cash flow according to policies

Requirement

• Min degree in social work or psychology

• 2 years relevant working experience in the social service sector

• Mon to Fri (Office Hours) - Ability to commit to weekend and evening meetings when required.

• The Welfare Home is for destitute persons.

Job Scope:

• Perform general accounting functions (eg. Revenue accounting, payable processing, billings and preparation of monthly management reports, etc
• Facilitate the annual financial audit field work
• Assist in generation of additional reports for annual Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting Exercise and Half-Year Review, annual tax queries
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly audit schedules, management reports and quarterly GST return
• Coordinate with various centre and departments

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans Only
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Diploma holder with at least 5 years’ or degree with 2-3 years’ experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Value added; has the knowledge for AIMS/SMART System
