A renowned M&E firm is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist for the project's electrical system specifications, design submission, shop drawings, and details.
- Assist in reviewing the project's requirements to develop design calculations for the electrical and/or power supply systems.
- Work with relevant departments to develop effective designs and solutions.
- Ensure that all installations, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment conform to standards, safety, timelines and budgets.
- Report any abnormalities in electrical or power systems that will impact the project and conduct investigations immediately.
- Assist in paperwork submission.
- Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
- Perform QA/QC role on area assigned and ensure safety regulations are being complied on site
- Prepare progress report and project handover report
- Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum degree in engineering or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the construction industry or working with LTA projects and also preferably with experience in 22kv power supply.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage project timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor the team.
- Familiar with construction worksite safety practices.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with various stakeholders.
- 5.5 working days.
