At AWS, we’re hiring highly technical Cloud Consulting Consultants to help our partners develop technical expertise and capacity, while also collaborating with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will deliver proof-of-concept projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. These professional services engagements will focus on key customer solutions such as web applications, networking enterprise applications, monitoring, backup, security, disaster recovery & DevOps transformations.

• Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field business development, marketing, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple DB/RDS databases, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), etc.
• Solutions - Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in on-site visits with prospective customers, understanding customer requirements, and proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements.
• Delivery - Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services. Engagements will include migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS cloud services.
• Insights - Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
- Support Proserve ESM in pre-sales, including creation of AWS architectures, scoping clarification and estimation of efforts

- Be an individual contributor and mentor a team of delivery architects in the delivery of launched Proserve opportunities

Basic qualifications

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience and 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
• 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
• 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
• 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• 5+ years consulting or implementing cloud infrastructure for Singapore Public Sector Customers

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (AWS ProServe) ASEAN organization is looking for experienced Customer Delivery Architects (CDAs). A CDA is responsible for partnering with ProServe leaders and client partners to dive deep into a customer’s business challenge in order to collaboratively propose and pre-qualify a particular set of business outcomes that would result from a formal ProServe engagement. Thereafter, the CDA remains meaningfully engaged with that customer, Amazon team and project/program to ensure high-value, predictable, and successful delivery.

Key job responsibilities

• As a key member of the Account and Professional Services Go-To-Market teams, ensure success in designing, building, optimizing, transforming or otherwise migrating applications, software, and services at scale on the AWS platform.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS in answering their Migration, Modernization and/or Data and Analytics needs to achieve organizational goals.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts.
• In partnership with the ProServe leadership and Account team, formulate and execute a strategy to accelerate customer outcomes through the adoption of AWS technologies.
• Build deep relationships and act as trusted technology advisor with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge, sales and delivery content amongst the AWS Professional Services community.
• This is a customer facing role. You be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.

Basic qualifications

• 10+ years track record of consulting, managing and delivering large-scale enterprise implementations and 7+ years of experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles.
• Understanding and ability to articulate business impact of technical decisions, with a minimum of 3 years working experience in ASEAN region, and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
• Demonstrated industry leadership and track record of implementing AWS services with deep expertise in migration, modernization or data analytics implementation.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

APJ ProServe is seeking a Customer Delivery Architect (CDA), focusing on Financial Services Industries (FSI) for its Technology & Industry team. This role will be focused on helping FSI customers build or migrate their business workloads on AWS.

From ideation through to build and then to operate, AWS ProServe is committed to helping customers accelerate their time-to-value on AWS. This Senior CDA will be based in Singapore but have an APJ wide remit in the Professional Services team. Their focus will be on providing pre-sales support with customer executives followed by hands-on-delivery for FSI workloads.

Successful candidates will have executive level experience in leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions in the FSI domain. Domain expertise should include deep, practical and hands-on understanding of Core Banking solutions.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with managing data at scale, automation, and hybrid.

Key job responsibilities

• Deliver value – Lead and support local ProServe delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational ProServe technical engagements for AWS customers in the FSI domain
• Pre-sales support – Create and deliver presentations to customers that inspire the art of the possible in FSI using cloud computing. Understand customer requirements and collaborate with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new FSI customer engagements
• Industry Leadership – Identify common customer interest in APJ and innovate new technology offerings. Work with the global FSI Industry team to stay-ahead of the leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
• Industry Expertise Transfer – Upskill AWS ProServe builders in APJ on proven ProServe FSI offerings.
