My client is a global professional services firm seeking for an Accountant to handle accounts payable and general ledger functions for the office. You will work in close liaison with the local and international management for the support of those finance responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of finance experience or equivalent
• Experience in legal firms, professional services environment or partnership model preferred
• Possess strong knowledge of Singapore GST regulations
• Willing to cover Billings and Accounts Receivables duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Report to the Finance Manager and/or CFO
2. Perform group consolidation of accounts
3. Prepare year end audit schedules and liaise with external auditors;
4. Handling full set of accounting functions;
5. Prepare annual statutory accounts, income tax computation, XBRL filing, governmentstatistics/surveys and ad hoc matters such as review regulatory MAS consultation
6. Prepare monthly accounts, management reports and returns in a timely and accurate mannerconsistent with the company’s policies;
7. Preparation of income tax computation and liaise with tax agent in all tax related matters;
8. Prepare GST and commission report;
9. Prepare monthly cash flow statement
10. Prepare, maintain and review monthly journal;
11. Perform analysis of accounts;
12. Perform monthly accounts reconciliation;
13. Supervise and review the work of subordinates
14. Attend to ad-hoc requests for financial information or other projects that may arise

Requirement:

1. Possessed at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
2. 3-5 years of working experience in the related field
3. 3 years Audit and FP&A experience with SGX reporting (added advantage)
4. Good command of English and Chinese languages.
