Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and application modernization, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Strategy and Architecture:
- Design and implement end-to-end Azure-based cloud solutions aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, including multi-cloud and hybrid cloud models, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
2. Solution Design and Implementation:
- Lead the design of enterprise-grade solutions using Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Architect and oversee the migration of on-premises applications and workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration.
3. Governance and Security:
- Implement robust governance frameworks, leveraging tools like Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, and Azure Security Center.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
4. Optimization and Cost Management:
- Continuously monitor Azure environments to optimize resource usage and manage costs effectively.
- Introduce cost-saving strategies, including reserved instances, right-sizing, and automation of scaling processes.
5. Collaboration and Leadership:
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for cross-functional teams, guiding best practices in Azure cloud architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and security teams to align solutions with organizational objectives.
6. Innovation and Modernization:
- Drive innovation by integrating cutting-edge Azure technologies, including AI/ML services, serverless computing, and data analytics platforms.
- Modernize legacy applications by leveraging Azure PaaS and SaaS offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud solutions.
- Strong expertise in designing and deploying large-scale Azure environments across various industries.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including virtual networks, storage, databases, identity services, and DevOps toolchains.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Hands-on experience with Azure security tools like Azure AD, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities to drive technical teams and manage complex projects.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- TOGAF or equivalent architectural frameworks certification
