Job Responsibilities
Core focus will be on integrating cloud solutions with existing on-premise infrastructure and applications managed by AsiaPac. This involves designing secure and reliable hybrid cloud architectures that seamlessly connect various components.
Define and oversee the organization's cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, cloud management, and cost optimization.
Lead and mentor a team of cloud architects.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from technical staff to senior management.
Optimize its technology investments to reduce costs.
Working in partnership with the sales teams, lead the pre-sales engagement with customers to understand desired customer outcomes, technical objectives, and services requirements.
Lead discovery workshops with customers to understand their business and technical drivers including application onboarding discovery of deployment-ready application workloads.
Ensure that proposals, solution designs and Statements Of Work are technically sound and competitive.
Provide Architecture Design, review and guidance for Public Cloud application including; monitoring, management, disaster recovery, security compliance/auditing, networking, storage, service brokers and build packs.
Stay up-to-date on emerging cloud technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing them when appropriate.
Analyze business requirements and identify areas where technology can be used to improve efficiency and productivity.
Job Requirements
5+ year experience in Hybrid Cloud architecture, design and implementation of critical applications.
3+ years’ experience with Hyperscalers (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Pre-sales Consulting experience, including time supporting sales and liaising with technical practices and delivery will be an added advantage.
Strong technical knowledge with a clear understanding of cloud services and deployment models
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English
Experience as a team leader in a dynamic and fast pace environment
Having experience to work on large scale, complex projects
Hands-on experience with public cloud required
Certified AWS Solution Architect Professional or Azure Solution Architect Expert will be an added advantage
