Bayes is representing a European Facade-Major on key hires as they scale-up their business across South-East Asia. We are presently seeking a Facade Design Manager as part of their hiring plans.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive technical presentations on façade performance during the concept stage.
• Support the preparation of detailed façade tender packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles across a variety of materials and systems.
• Lead internal drafting teams to enhance productivity and technical expertise, including reviewing shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Identify and resolve unforeseen interface issues during different phases of design.
• Provide strong leadership by professionally managing team members, assigning tasks, and offering guidance to improve drafting efficiency.
• Oversee drawing submissions, ensuring adherence to tight schedules and timely delivery in line with agreed project timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in Facade Design Engineering for Facade/Building-Systems industry
• Local construction knowledge and authority-submission standards/requirements
• Ability to independently provide advisory, design management and construction-management for Facade-related responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Preparations and modifications of precast schematic, detailed and production drawings for precast concrete components, steel mould and RC structures
• Developing solutions to the technical & design complications following Singapore’s established standards
• Preparation of 2D and 3D presentations and/or design drawings
• Compilation of data and performance of elementary design computations
• Required to participate in Client liaison, authority consultation, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and attending design and construction meetings
• May be required to mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff/colleagues
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by the Management/Direct Supervisor

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 2 years of related working experience
