As a Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) at Caton Technology, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions. This role involves staying relevant to technology trends within the industry verticals of our customers. You will be required to present proposals from two perspectives: Technical and Commercial / Financial. Additionally, you will need to support post-sales service work, ensuring that our customers receive comprehensive support beyond the initial sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into comprehensive IP transmission solutions.
- Utilize expertise in IP Transmission stream protocols to design and implement efficient and reliable solutions.
- Work closely with internal sales teams, global resellers, and System Integration partners to drive business growth and expand market reach.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broadcast/OTT/CDN/IP transmission industry, including its unique challenges and requirements.
- Manage the responses to RFIs, RFPs, and provide technical proposals that meet client needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with end customers and internal System Integrators (SI) to ensure an excellent level of customer satisfaction.
- Design system architecture and network infrastructure for IP transmission, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Define the scope of managed services, including SLAs, maintenance and support, network monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to custome needs.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to customize solutions or develop new features.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IP transmission technologies to improve offerings.
- Support post-sales service work to ensure comprehensive customer support.
- Able to manage and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and provide compelling technical proposals.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in broadcast and IP transmission industries as a Solutions Architect or senior Pre-Sales Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of IP transmission technologies, protocols, and networking concepts.
- Proficient in designing and implementing solutions using IP networking, routing, and switching technologies.
- Familiar with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in selling IP transmission managed services and building successful customer relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong relationships with end customers, global resellers, and SI partners considered a plus.
