Key Responsibilities:
- MEP Design Management: Oversee the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.
- Attend site visits and meetings for tender briefings.
- Review and interpret tender specifications, client needs, drawings, and related documents.
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors to gather proposals and conduct evaluations.
- Support clients in applying value engineering principles to enhance cost-effectiveness and project performance.
- Ensure that all designs and processes meet Singapore's building codes and regulations.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and promote teamwork within the project team.
Requirements
Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge (ASK)
- Min Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in M&E works for interior fitting out projects.
- Proficient in preparing M&E technical designs, technical documentation, tender specifications, and presentation materials for tender interviews.
- Strong understanding of the tender preparation and submission process.
- Experience in project costing and estimating is a MUST
- Familiarity with BCA Green Mark requirements.
- Knowledge of Dialux or other lighting simulation software is a MUST
- Strong abilities in delivering effective tender presentations.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Others
- Requires travelling to various worksites in Singapore
- Requires to perform night work/weekends when need arises
