Job Description:
- Prepares pipe support loads and conceptual designs for special pipe supports during detailed design phases.
- Conducts visual checks and calculates piping loads for non-critical lines.
- Provides guidance to piping designers and drafting teams, ensuring that piping requirements are accurately incorporated into the design. Delivers outputs on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Assists in preparing datasheets for specialty piping items, including spring hangers and expansion bellows.
- Compiles pipe stress analysis reports, addresses client comments, and resolves related issues as needed.
- Adheres to engineering procedures and standards while providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Identifies opportunities to implement new processes and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Facilitates effective communication and coordination across all disciplines for seamless design and development processes.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering works.
- Excellent technical communication skills (oral and written) with proven ability to present complex issues to design and project engineering teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, take initiative, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
