Senior Java Developer - Commodities Trading Company
Our client, a European Commodities, Energy and Utilities trading company, is looking to expand their APAC Development team, with a Senior Java Developer.
This role will take the lead of the APAC-wide enhancements and development of new features for a critical invoicing application, giving you the chance to collaborate with local, regional and European developers, BAs and deployment teams to deliver excellent software solutions with global impact.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing new features & enhancing the tools (understanding client requirements, how they translate to app features, writing quality source code to program enhacements, perform unit and integration testing, functional and non-functional testing, etc)
- Supporting the tools (processing support requests from users and app clients - configuration, assistance, etc)
Your background and skills (required):
- Solid experience in Java programming (5+ years)
- Solid expereince of the Spring framework
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Rest API design and development
