Job Description:
- Design review with other disciplines before submission for bidding.
- Client ITB documents and prepares clarifications and deviation list.
- Preparation of Piping Design calculations such as Piping Sizing, Pipe thickness, Pressure Drop etc.
- Preparing Pipeline list, Valve list, Equipment list, Instrument list, Specialty component list and initial MTO (For alloy steel), Final MTO (for metallic/Non-metallic piping, Valves/Specialty components).
- Detailed designing of piping systems including Hydro test, cleaning and Flushing concepts. Prepare piping specification (Piping class manual), standards and design instructions.
- Checking of all the output documents with respect of Work instructions and checklists for ensuring quality.
- Knowledge on Material selection and specifications as per international codes and standards (ASTM, ANSI, API).
- Basic knowledge of pipe stress analyses.
- Check and finalise isometrics and Supporting Drawings for erection purposes and release.
- Prepare sub-contractor construction scope of work for EPC/EPCM projects.
- Continuous site support if there arise any Piping, E&I, civil,construction and Installation enquiry.
- Other ad-hoc duties deemed fit and necessary by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Degree in engineering disciplines
- Minimum 5 yearsof experience in the design and engineering field.
- Motivated, responsible with positive attitude and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to working in Construction site (Jurong Island).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is required.
- Knowledge of BIM Model will be an added advantage.
