Working hours : 9 am - 6 p.m

Salary : $3,500 to $5,000

Roles & Responsibilities

• Progress all elements of design in-line with the Design Checklist.
• Prepare electrical tender packages, including specifications and drawings.
• Stay updated with current practices and engineering trends within the industry to remain technically competent.
• Tender and estimate electrical works for projects before award.
• Compile and review Operation and Maintenance Dossiers for projects.
• Ensure the System Supervisor is provided with current shop and space management drawings, specifications, approved technical submittals, and all approved changes in scope.
• Fully brief the System Supervisor on the awarded scope of work, tender technical documents, and all contractual revisions to tender documentation.
• Evaluate technical submittals for compliance with specifications and client requirements.
• Approve Test Packs at each construction step through to completion.
• Forward testing and commission passing criteria to the System Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in design and construction management for electrical projects.

Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed shop job/working drawings (Architectural/Structural) to aid project construction.
2. Coordinate and rectify errors in plans and specifications with Architects/Engineers/M&E.
3. Assist site colleagues in providing timely and accurate shop drawings for construction.
4. Consult with site colleagues to resolve drawing discrepancies, redesign, and minimize issues.
5. Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to prepare accurate drawings for site use.
6. Create as-built drawings for project completion submission/handover to clients/consultants.
7. Utilize BIM software for Arch/M&E/Structural drawing.
8. Support tender processes in BIM/drafting as required.
9. Attend technical meetings when necessary.
10. Ensure effective Multi-Disciplinary coordination works are carried out.

-Collaborate with internal team in Singapore to engage with customers / consultants on a daily basis

-Prepare project documents including BQ

-Manage Design & Build projects

-Develop optimized design solutions for projects

-Create Design drawings (Single Line Drawings & layouts)

-Conduct design calculations including voltage drop, short circuit current etc.

-Support multiple M&E projects concurrently

-Chair project meetings and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines

-Ensure drawings & documents are properly maintained & stored promptly

-Perform other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirement

-Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering

-Minimum 3 yrs of relevant hands-on M&E experience in construction industry, LTA projects, mixed development etc

-Familiarity with Singapore codes such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, SS555 etc required

-Experience with AutoCAD drawings preferred

-Knowledge of BIM (Revit / Navisworks) is beneficial

-Consultancy experience preferred

-Effective organizational and follow-up skills, attention to detail

-Strong communication skills

-Good interpersonal skills and able to engage with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner

Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer (Electrical)

Working days: 5 Days
Working hours: 830am - 615pm
Salary Range: $3000 - $5500
Working Location: Office at Ubi , working based on projects
