Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements for thermal cooling solutions. In this role, you will oversee design and process quality, ensuring products meet the highest standards of excellence. This position offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives and optimize production processes within a dynamic, global environment.
The incumbent will be based in Hanoi, Vietnam as part of the company's expansion plans and setting up of a manufacturing facility in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Monitoring & Optimization: Develop and implement advanced systems to monitor and enhance product quality and yield. Lead initiatives to identify and rectify areas for improvement.
- Quality Issue Management: Address and resolve abnormal quality issues in manufacturing processes. Work collaboratively across teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Process Enhancement: Strengthen internal quality controls and enhance process efficiency, driving operational excellence.
- Customer Quality Assurance: Lead investigations into customer-reported issues, ensuring effective corrective actions and preventive solutions are communicated to stakeholders.
- Inspection Process Improvement: Optimize inspection processes, integrating automation and advanced technologies where applicable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with design, production, and other teams to maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the performance, development, and task allocation of the quality team, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in quality engineering, particularly in manufacturing and design quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proven leadership skills.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma are advantageous.
- Willing to be based in Vietnam and travel where required
