Job Responsibilities
Collaborative Design
- Work closely with our team to conceptualize and develop unique furniture designs aligned with the SOHOO brand.
- Combine traditional woodworking techniques with modern aesthetics to create high-quality, functional, and stylish furniture pieces.
- Collaborate on design refinements based on market trends, customer preferences, and brand requirements.
Project-Based Contributions
- Take ownership of assigned design projects, from initial concept to production.
- Ensure all designs are technically feasible for manufacturing and meet quality standards.
- Provide detailed design documentation, including sketches, 3D renderings, and material specifications.
Market Research and Trend Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations to propose fresh ideas.
- Work with the marketing and sales team to identify customer preferences and incorporate them into new designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture design or related fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or equivalent).
- Excellent understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and production techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with a team effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
