Position Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design and Events Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of our clients’ and company’s events, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees. This role requires a blend of event planning skills and graphic design expertise to create visually appealing and memorable events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, product launches, and social events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
- Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
- Prepare event materials, such as programs, schedules, and promotional items.
- Manage event registration processes and attendee communication.
Design and Creative Development:
- Create visually compelling materials, such as invitations, posters, banners, brochures, and social media graphics.
- Design event layouts and floor plans using design software.
- Develop branding elements and themes for events that align with guidelines.
- Produce multimedia content such as slideshows, videos, and animations for event presentations.
On-Site Event Management:
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all event activities run smoothly and address any issues that arise promptly.
- Coordinate with the event team to manage attendee flow and engagement.
Post-Event Activities:
- Assist in the collection and analysis of event feedback and data.
- Compile post-event reports and summaries for internal review.
- Recommend improvements for future events based on feedback and observations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in event planning and graphic design a plus
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Autocad
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment and at various event sites. The role requires some travel and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
