To manage and direct all disciplines with responsibility for Accounting, Finance, Taxation, including professionals and other junior managers. This position will manage and direct a team comprised of Accountants and support staff. This will include training local employees with the intent to transfer the specialized knowledge of accounting processes, technical systems, contract management and logistics procedures necessary to implement the proper controls and procedures required by our international operations and standards and act as a subject matter expert to the other OFS business units involved in the projects as it relates to accounting, financial, taxation, visa/work permit activities and deliverables.
Key Accountabilities : Overall management for Finance -
Manage and direct individual disciplines performing a variety of tasks in Finance Department. And the provision of all EPCI deliverables and activities in relation to the respective disciplines contained within the Business Unit. In so doing, it will rely heavily on its specialized knowledge of our accounting methodologies, financial reporting and accountability, and technical systems, the implementation of which is dependent on said knowledge and experience. Moreover, it will rely on this advanced and specialized knowledge to be responsible for the review and approval of the Job Execution Plan, using its specialized knowledge of our contract management and planning processes, EPCI & regulatory requirements, project budget procedures, accounting protocols, and tax optimization in accordance with international standard and practices. Also implement processes and liaise with non-technical suppliers, vendors, and concerned stakeholders. In reliance upon its specialized knowledge of accounting methodologies, financial reporting and accountability, and technical systems, manage and monitor for compliance and consistency between contract scheme planning and execution, tax scheme planning and execution, legal registrations and requirements, and associated planning used in the preparation of Job Execution.
Qualifications and Technical requirements:
Experience with software & technology systems, Knowledge of Topics & Languages, at basic/intermediate/advanced level
- Above 20 years of relevant experience,
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic SAP
- International taxation knowledge and work experience outside Singapore i.e. Indian taxation for minimum five years
- Diploma in Accounting or Business Management
- well written and spoken english is required. Additional proficency in Japanese languege to facilitate internal meetings.
