Established since 1972 as an overseas service base for sales, installation and maintenance of lifts and escalators in Singapore. Currently looking for euthusiastic electrical engineers to join this expanding team.
Work location: Jurong East
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 830am - 530pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Check and review technical aspect of project design
- Design, make, amend, update and issue drawings for elevator parts and installation drawings
- Make, amend, issue and upkeep design document (design information, delivery list, design standard, design change, etc.)
- Carry out project design review to ensure customer specifications are met
- Ensure that all safety aspects of design are reviewed and complied
- Compliance to schedule and deadline for projects and works assigned
- Computerization and documentation of design process
- Maintenance of computer programs
- Carry out design improvement activity
- Detail analysis of faults, trouble, defects and establish corrective and preventive action
- Actively monitor and follow-up of outstanding/pending issues’ completion
- Attend to enquiries from other departments or overseas agents
- Quotation for spare parts
- Educate Assistant Officer on various aspect of design
- Ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
- Experienced in using AutoCAD
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with coding
