Darco Water Technologies Limited (“the Group” ) was founded in 1999 and listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2002. It has a well-established presence in China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, The Group business comprised of EPC (“Engineering, Procurement, and Construction”), EPC maintenance services, Supply essential chemicals and other products required for maintenance servicing etc.
The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for all finance and corporate-related matters for Darco group of companies which includes accounting, budgeting, tax, and other corporate reporting matters as may be required for statutory requirements and submission to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to Group FC for monthly, quarterly and mid year financial performance of the Group.
- Lead the collection of financial data, review and analyse month-end closing activities from reporting entities; organise monthly finance meeting with principal activities.
- Prepare and review financial forecast, update and monitor cash flow projection from reporting entities, complete actual - forecast variance analysis and identify the reasons.
- Co-ordinate and address issues arising from the internal and external audit.
- Preparation of financial statements, group consolidation and SGX results announcement.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial reports and systems.
- Develop and manage the company’s business processes and financial standards to meet the risk control requirements and to strengthen internal controls.
- Assist the Senior Financial Controller in relation to work-related field and any ad hoc assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, and/or professional accounting qualifications in ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
- Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Having audit experience will be beneficial
- Experience with public listed company reporting and regulatory is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin for reading, writing, and conversational skills
