The Art Teacher ( Assistant ) will be responsible for developing students' artistic skills and creativity through various forms of visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and other media such as design and architecture. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages students to explore their creative potential while learning about art history and techniques.
Create a positive, inclusive environment that supports student engagement and learning.
Have a passion and love for educating the young.
Maintain studio discipline and encourage respect for materials, tools.
Collaborate with colleagues, including other senior art educators, to promote the art learning as a whole.
Communicate fluently with colleagues, parents and guardians about student progress and upcoming .
Ability to walk around and stand for extended periods while teaching at times.
Ability to lift and carry art supplies and materials at times.
Diploma or Degree in visual arts, design or education. Undergraduates are welcome to apply.
Required to work on weekends.
