POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the APAC FP&A Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the Financial Planning and Analysts function of all Commercial operations in Asia Pacific. This includes monthly regional reporting & consolidation, forecasting & budgeting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Support the development of Rolling Forecast, Business Reviews, Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
- Ensure key deliverables and timelines are met for Daily/Weekly sales reporting, monthly/quarterly PL analysis and financial trends to Global/APAC management team
- Driving financial analysis for New Product post-launch performance & Price Volume analysis
- Development of Revenue & Margin analysis and Pricing reports using Business Intelligence Database & Power BI to assist in decision making for APAC management team
- Consolidation and analysis of Business Units Profit & Loss statements on a monthly/quarterly basis Support Business Units structure, including revenue, margin, operating expenses, and other ad hoc analysis/projects
- Partner closely with cost center functional leaders and Strategic marketing to track and analyze OPEX spends & Headcount analysis
- Support delivery of presentation review/deck as and when required by the business
- Support annual cost roll process and working with APAC countries to ensure accurate costing at SKU level
- Continue to streamline and improve current processes to drive better accuracy and efficiency in work Lead ad-hoc projects as required, able to provide valuable input and provide technical opinions on FPA matters Support due diligence and integration for potential M&A projects
- Provide guidance/training to local country teams for FPA related topics
- Ad-hoc requests, financial modeling, consolidation or related work when require
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Certified Accountant with Degree in Accounting or related qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles with an International multi-location MNC
- Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, PBCS and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in Microsoft, VBA, Power Point, SAP, Power BI and Business Intelligence would be an added advantage
- A team player who is able to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
- Self-motivated, keen to learn and detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Strong financial acumen, ability to think analytically, communicate effectively and present reports & ideas succinctly
- Good communication skill in English, oral and written.
- Able to meet tight deadline and handle ad-hoc requests.
