This is a screening centre focusing on Preventive Health and Endoscopy.

Looking for perm and locum Resident Physician

*Fully registered with SMC.

• Budget: $8000 - $10000
• Working hours : 5.5 days office hours

Job Scope:

• Provide preventive care services, including screenings, physical exams, and health counseling.
• Participate in colonoscopy and gastroscopy training and perform procedures under supervision until fully accredited.
• Ensure timely follow up and referral (if indicated) of residents’ results and conditions.
• Educate residents about the importance of preventive health measures.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in outreach, health promotion programs and departmental activities such as quality assurance and clinical process improvement.
• To lead and undertake any other specific projects/tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• MBBS or post graduate qualification recognised by Singapore Medical Council.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) trained.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in clinical practice.
• Experience with patient care in outpatient and in patient settings.

Skills and Competencies

• Willingness and commitment to undergo specialized training in endoscopy (colonoscopy and gastroscopy), basic sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to complete an accredited endoscopy training program.
• Strong interest in preventive health and screening procedures.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
