Role Overview:

TSGS is on the lookout for a talented Desktop Developer with a strong foundation in Node.js, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. Your role will focus on building innovative desktop applications. Experience with Electron is a welcomed asset, but not a necessity. We value adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and refine cross-platform desktop applications using Node.js and JavaScript, along with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
• Electron knowledge is optional but beneficial – enthusiasm for learning Electron is key.
• Develop a user-friendly, efficient chat interface, focusing on performance optimization and backend integration.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design responsive and engaging user interfaces, ensuring adherence to high UI/UX standards.
• Implement real-time event handling and WebSocket communication for dynamic and interactive application features.
• Design and maintain robust data storage solutions, ensuring smooth functionality in both online and offline modes.
• Integrate backend technologies, showcasing a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and effective data exchange.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue, with a solid track record in building complex applications.
• Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles and a talent for creating visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
• Experience with backend integration and a good understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in real-time event handling and using WebSockets for interactive features.
• Proven ability in implementing effective data storage and synchronization for seamless online and offline functionality.

• At least 5 years of Java development experience.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Able to review solution design and perform code review.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, written and communication skills.
• Experience with Spring Framework or Python with Django/Flask experience.

Summary:
• The successful candidate will support Data Ingestion Framework (DIF). DIF provides a configurable and extensible ingestion service to bring data from source location to the target with pre-defined schema. It has inbuilt connectors (e.g., SharePoint, SFTP, RDBMS, and REST API) and parsers (e.g., CSV, Excel, and JSON) to support transformation/extraction of source data into structured format. In addition, DIF can also be extended with customization to support more bespoke or proprietary data sources and formats. It allows new ingestion pipelines to be set up by inserting ingestion job configurations without the coding and development effort.
