As a Package Design Engineer within the Package Development and Engineering (PDE) organization in Micron Technology, you will provide package definition and designs for advanced semiconductor devices. JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.
• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities.
• Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans
• Assist in doing tenders.
• Participate, work closely and give support to safety personnel at site on all initiatives/ matters relating to Safety and Health
• Comply with the Company Safety Management System and the WSHA and its subsidiary legislation

REQUIREMENT

• Possess Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PE Board with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in construction firm
• Manage consultant design changes and maintain good documentation
• Resolve technical issues independently, analytical, high motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills

· Attend all site meetings with clients, contractors, QP Design and relevant authorities on matters related to the projects

· Attend meetings with Managing Director on regular basis with the view to report on matters related to the projects and assist in the resolution of issues which may affect the performance of the company in discharging its contractual obligations to the clients

· Be a management representative of the company for both site and office projects

· Carry out planning, design drafting, cost estimate etc for the company’s project
