We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of business processes and demonstrate expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the Dynamics 365 F&O platform to meet client needs. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements GatheringEngage with business stakeholders to identify and document requirements.
Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand functional requirements across departments (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Solution Design & ImplementationTranslate business needs into functional designs and configure Dynamics 365 F&O accordingly.
Collaborate with developers for customization and ensure technical specifications align with business goals.
Define and implement system workflows, business processes, and data integration strategies.
- Project Management & Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to manage project timelines and deliverables.
Ensure smooth communication between cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues in coordination with stakeholders.
- System Configuration & OptimizationConfigure core modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Sales.
Optimize workflows, automate processes, and ensure smooth financial operations.
Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with company policies, and align with regulatory requirements.
- Training & DocumentationDevelop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users.
Provide ongoing post-implementation support and produce detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Strong expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing modules.
- Ability to map business requirements to system functionality.
- Experience with configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and delivering functional designs.
- Proficiency in data migration, integration with other systems, and customization handling.
- Excellent understanding of ERP systems, workflows, and business process management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in managing UAT, gap analysis, and process documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
