Automation Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• 2D drafting and documentation
• Assist Senior Engineer in:
• Technical assignments (CIP, upgrades, End Of Life)
• Design/development of hardware products
• Evaluation of mechanical/electromechanical devices
• Develop, test, and document designs for:
• Transport mechanisms
• Vacuum systems
• Process stations (deposition chambers, substrate heating/cooling/cleaning)
• Participate in detailed product design
• Provide mechanical design inputs for design review (DFM, DFA)
• Prepare/release 3D Solid Models and Engineering drawings
• Communicate with local vendors for design parts/assemblies delivery
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher NITEC (3-8 yrs exp) / Diploma (2-5 yrs exp) from reputable polytechnic / Bachelor's Degree (2 yrs exp) in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• Proficient in Solidworks (3D/2D design)
• Knowledge of Orcad or similar software (advantage)
• Experience in Machine Design (Semiconductor/Solar Equipment Design advantageous)
• Familiarity with Design Process (feasibility study to production realization)
• Knowledge of ECO release of Engineering quality documentation
• Experience in dynamic electromechanical system design
• High vacuum design and heat transfer experience (advantageous)

The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for structural analysis and design compliance are met for the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Conduct structure analysis
• Provide technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.
• Develop architectural/engineering drawings and ensure specifications/regulations are followed.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and other departments to ensure that the design intentions are met.
• Prepare bills of quantities and cost estimation whenever required
• Ability to identify potential and discrepancies that affect the design and recommend solutions to relevant team/department.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

Value Add of Position

• Design and calculation report for reinforced concrete, steel and geotechnical works using British Standards and Eurocode.

Technical Competencies

• Technical expertise and knowledge in Foundation, Structural and Civil works.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited Universities
• Prior 6 years of experience in design and construction (structural). Preferably have done data centre, marine offshore, and mixed-development projects.
• Have completed a data center project
• Well versed in structure analysis and design software such as ORION, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, PLAXIS or other similar software
• Well versed in Autocad and BIM software is preferred

Senior Engineer, Design Electrical

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead technical assignments for electrical hardware product design and development.
• Design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate electromechanical devices, components, or systems.
• Develop initial concepts and participate in detailed product design.
• Create original hardware, circuits, components, software, processes, and models.
• Participate in design reviews, providing DFM and DFA inputs.
• Prepare and release engineering drawings/schematics and communicate with vendors.
• ECO release of engineering documentation.
• Design AC/DC power distribution systems, PCBA, and components.
• Develop, test, and document designs.
• Estimate product/project requirements (power consumption, weight, size, schedule).
• Coordinate with manufacturing during pilot/production runs.
• Interface with customers to understand technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, including on-site support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Marketing, Service, QA).
• Assist engineering management in developing schedules and specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree + 6 years' experience / Master's Degree + 3 years' experience in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (motion, temperature measurement, PID loops, safety interlock circuits)
• Experience with dynamic electromechanical system design
• Proficient in Orcad, Autocad, PCAD, Solidworks, or similar 3D CAD software
• Design knowledge of NFPA, Semi Safety Requirements, and Machine safety

Position Overview:

The Senior/Staff Design Engineer will be responsible for developing micro-architecture for ISP and CV related algorithms, utilizing RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog coding and HLS tools like Catapult. They will analyze metrics such as power, performance, and area to meet key objectives, collaborate with architects and DV Engineersfor efficient verification signoff, and support FPGA tasks such as emulation,validation, and debugging.

Responsibilities:

• Develop micro-architecture for ISP and CV algorithms.
• Perform RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog and HLS tools (Catapult).
• Analyze and optimize metrics like power, performance, and area.
• Cooperate with verification architects and DV engineers to ensure high quality IP delivery.
• Support backend team for SoC signoff.
• Oversee FPGA tasks including emulation, validation, and debugging.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering is required.
• Experience: Minimum 5yearsand aboveof experience in ASIC design. Expertise in image signal processing projects is beneficial.
• Technical Skills:
• - Advanced proficiency in HDL languages (Verilog, System Verilog).
• - In-depth knowledge of all phases of ASIC frontend design and sign-off.
• - Extensive experience in image/vision/video data processing or algorithm acceleration.
• - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or C/C++.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Additional Notes:Stronganalytical skills and the ability to lead complex projects independently and within teams.

Job Description:

• Experienced in structural engineering design works mainly for road/viaduct projects.
• Supervision of drafting for the preparation of project documentation.
• Prepare designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.
• Assist in the preparation of technical detail for quotations, contract documentation and technical specifications.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
• Participate in the planning of projects as required.
• Previous experience in the use and application of Appropriate Singapore local and international Standards for structural design.
• Attend site inspection with required

Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience.
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design software, for instance Autocad, BIM
• Experienced in LTA projects would be advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail.
