About the role:
We are seeking a skilled graphic designer to join our team at DNVs Supply Chain and Product Assurance business area. The graphic designer will play a crucial role in shaping and maturing the visual identity of the business area and implementing this across all our channels to ensure communications and marketing materials are visually appealing and on-brand. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key responsibilities
- Visual content creation:Develop and produce high-quality graphics for both digital and print formats
Create designs for marketing materials, reports, brochures, flyers, banners, events stands
Design engaging social media graphics and other digital assets
Collaborate with the social media manager to create visual content for campaigns and posts
Collaborate with the business development team to support the design and visual identity of sales collateral such as customer presentations
- Brand consistency:Work with the brand manager to maintain DNV’s brand guidelines across all visual marketing material
Ensure all design work aligns with the DNV’s identity and messaging.
Examine existing processes, identify improvement areas, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
Help the brand manager update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video
- Project management:Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
- Creative collaboration:Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new design ideas and concepts.
Work closely with the wider marketing team and external designers as necessary to produce cohesive and effective visual communications.
Translate complex concepts into compelling visuals
- Continuous improvement:Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and software.
Continuously seek feedback to improve design quality and effectiveness.
About you:
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in design software including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with video editing
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts.
Desired skills:
- Experience with motion graphics
- Basic knowledge of web design.
