[What the role is]
The officer will oversee and manage the corporate social media channels of Singapore Tourism Board such as STB LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. He/She will be responsible for the overarching social strategy, planning of the social content calendar as well as the curation and development of the content.
[What you will be working on]
Management of STB Corporate Social Channels
- As a Strategic Communications Social Media Manager, you will manage STB's social media corporate channels, namely STB Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, to increase followers and engagement, develop advocates, and build STB’s corporate reputation as aligned with our strategic messages. The work involves developing a cohesive content calendar that support the Board’s strategic objectives and key messages, creating engaging content and managing our social media community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee STB’s corporate social media strategy, social playbook and guidelines.
- Editorial and content planning: review existing and upcoming content, plan and execute editorial calendar, plan and execute content development, including creating content (copywriting, images, videos, audio, infographics). Other activities include event/on-ground coverage, overseeing and/or conducting live streaming, and managing issues and crises.
- Manage social media community. This includes responding to comments and adopting relevant tactics to manage comments that breach house rules or etiquette.
- Monitor social media performance: track performance of each channel and post, provide weekly updates, generate adhoc reports when required
Others:
- Corporate logo guardianship - to oversee corporate logo guidelines, provide guidance and facilitate usage with both internal and external stakeholders etc.
- Support media monitoring efforts across all media and social channels.
- Support for corporate industry events such as Tourism Industry Conference and Singapore Tourism Awards etc.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 3 years of social media management experience, including areas like planning of social calendar, development and curation of social content and copywriting, paid social media advertising, social media monitoring etc.
- Experience in developing and executing corporate and strategic communications plans to effectively drive the board’s strategic messages through various channels and platforms such as through social media, media channels, PR plans etc.
- Highly organised with strong project management and organisational skills
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects, work well under pressure within tight timelines
- Strong team player and collaborative with good interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
