You will collaborate closely with the top management, interior designers, other related teams to provide creative direction, solutions, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will encompass both project management and design leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Direction and Presentation:Provide design guidance, creative direction, and innovative proposal to meet client requirements.
   Present and effectively communicate design intent during client pitches and project discussions.
   
2. Client Management:Efficiently handle multiple projects concurrently, overseeing them from start to finish, including sales, design, and execution phases.
   Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.
   
3. Design Implementation:Conceptual design for pitching projects, including mood board, rendering.
   Translate design concepts into detailed plans, ensuring that aesthetic intent aligns with technical feasibility.
   Collaborate with design principal, and clients, qualified Persons and vendors to refine and finalize design details.
   Collaborate with MEP engineers to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the interior design.
   Produce comprehensive construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, with a focus on precision and clarity.
   
4. Building Management Submissions:Prepare and submit drawing package required for approvals from building management.
   Coordinate with QP for submission to relevant authorities.
   Manage the submission process, tracking progress, and ensuring timely approvals.
   
5. Project Design Coordination:Coordinate with project teams to integrate architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design elements seamlessly.
   Coordinate with procurement team to select feasible materials for design implementation.
   Collaborate with Project Leaders from project initiation to completion, offering design expertise and insights.
   Attend adhoc meetings related to design and project matters, including client meetings, project meetings, and site visits.
   Monitor the implementation of design intent on-site and provide guidance or recommend design changes as necessary.
   
6. As-Built Submissions:Ensure that all design changes and solutions are seamlessly integrated into project documentation.
   Oversee the creation of accurate as-built drawings, reflecting the final state of the project post-construction.
   Ensure that as-built submissions are complete and comply with relevant industry standards.
   

Requirements:

• A recognized Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in a range of design-related software, including Hand Sketch, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and similar tools.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial design, showcasing strong technical knowledge in areas such as shop drawings, site surveys, and detail drawings.
• Experience in managing projects from start to finish, encompassing sales, design, and execution.

Responsibilities:

1) Electrical Design:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical system requirements, specifications, and design criteria for marine vessel propulsion and control systems.

· Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using industry-standard design tools.

· Select appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards.

· Design and implement control logic, automation, and monitoring systems for propulsion and manoeuvring.

2) Commissioning and Integration:

· Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of electrical systems on marine vessels during construction or retrofit projects.

· Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design specifications.

· Collaborate with shipyard personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper installation and alignment of propulsion and control components.

· Coordinate with project managers to establish commissioning schedules, manage resources, and ensure timely project completion.

3) System Optimization and Performance Enhancement:

· Analyse and evaluate the performance of propulsion and control systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvement, and performance enhancement.

· Work closely with the research and development team to implement innovative technologies and solutions to address emerging challenges in marine propulsion and control.

4) Documentation and Reporting:

· Create comprehensive technical documentation, including operation manuals, maintenance guides, and as-built drawings for electrical systems.

· Generate commissioning reports, test procedures, and status updates for internal teams, project stakeholders, and clients.

5) Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

· Ensure that all designed and commissioned electrical systems comply with relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.

· Collaborate with regulatory bodies and classification societies to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for electrical systems.
